Who am I? Why do I call this a Hobby Business?
Easy one first - a hobby business is just what it sounds like. I've been doing work of this nature for many years, always on the side. Truly, my hobby. I've just decided to go 'legit' with it and have some fun. To have more fun, I figured I should advertise and market a bit. To do those activities, I figured I should have a business to promote. And now we've gone full circle... so Solo Technology was born!

But What Do I Do?
What do I do here? These days I'm primarily focused on building web sites and applications. I also do a fair amount of WordPress support in the volunteer support forums.
To be very clear: I'm not a Web Designer! Think of me more as a "web mechanic." I can tweak and modify existing designs. I can help you choose a design. I can get your content into that design. I can offer advice and suggestions. But I'll be the first to admit I'm not overly skilled at starting a design from scratch!
I'm a big fan of sites like Open Source Web Design and Open Web Design. Great places to search for a new look — or inspiration.
