Been riding the whirlwind at work since I got back. Can’t complain, but it’s been keeping me busy. We had some DNS related networking issues last Friday and over the weekend. While trying to figure out what was going on, I stumbled across this little gem of a collection of dns tools – http://www.dnsstuff.com/ I’ve had my XM Radio now for almost a year. Been great and useful not only for listening to what I want around town, but for road trips too. This last trip it really paid off for the wife and I. We probably logged over 20 hours just on the 80s channel Quick tech update from the road. Firefox 1.0.3 has been released. Primarily fixing some security issues. Give it a look. Once I get back home I hope to pick it up–using my digital cell phone as a modem is a bit tedious Too late for me (heck, the domain gives me away) but if you’re interested, the EFF’s article on How to Blog Anonymously is out. Mostly common sense, but worth a read imho. Two items related to web searching today. First, if you’re a Firefox user, check out Butler. Oops, I forgot–first you’ll need Greasemonkey though. It sets you up so you can add these little user scripts to customize Firefox. Anywho, go get Greasemonkey, then restart FF, then go get Butler (right click on the |
