Gmail for mobile

Noticed something new this morning as I checked my Gmail account — Gmail Mobile has been released. My phone isn’t listed in the compatible phones list, but it actually seems to work sufficiently. I can sign in and view my emails.
Rather cool, and perhaps useful to check mail this way, but I’ll have to think of a reason why I’d want to write email from my phone…. it tends to be easier to just connect it to my laptop and use the laptop instead. But maybe that’s just me.
Neat technology though.
