Wordpress 2.0 Release Candidate 3

The neat thing about running my own server is that I can opt to run beta stuff on ‘em. So, I might just break down and install the Wordpress 2.0 RC3 (release candidate) package this evening. I need to look it over and see what the dependencies are (in particular Mysql and Php) first.
Still kicking around the notion of moving this all to a *nix server too. Then the dang Category links on the right would work properly. Not comitting to anything. Just pondering…

Hrrm, now you have me itching to upgrade… Perhaps I’ll get started updating all my deps..
eeks, I’m still running a beta of MySQL 5 (5.0.7-beta-standard)
Oh yeah! Reminds me. You may recall all my issues with Mysql 5 when i first put together this server? Apparently I should’ve read a bit more. I guess I wanted to turn “Strict” off when using WP 1.5 with mysql. I saw a dev post last night that would appear that’s no longer necessary though. I suppose I may “re”upgrade soon.
