Ok, I’m sure everyone is tired of reading about this thing… but do some searching and be prepared to marvel at the many varied way that this exploit is being.. exploited. Truly, it is terrible.
So, I’d seriously like to suggest you read this article from Steve Gibson on a “New High Quality Temporary WMF Exploit Patch.” Download the patch and run it - please?
As a side note: I have half a dozen back podcast episodes of Security Now queued up to check out this week. I notice they talk about vpns and even mention Hamachi a few times (see some of my comments from earlier this week). I used to have some “issue” with Mr. Gibson, but I figure that shouldn’t stop me from (hopefully) learning something.
