The Google PC?

Ok, I don’t think I ever saw this one coming. LA Times is running an article that mentions a Google PC. Woah. From the article:

Google will unveil its own low-price personal computer or other device that connects to the Internet.

Sources say Google has been in negotiations with Wal-Mart Stores Inc., among other retailers, to sell a Google PC. The machine would run an operating system created by Google, not Microsoft’s Windows, which is one reason it would be so cheap — perhaps as little as a couple of hundred dollars.

Running a Google OS? Woah.

I believe I know somebody that will be at the Consumer Electronic’s Show? I sure hope he attends the keynote speech mentioned in the article!

[edit] It behooves me to mention that the article quoted above is a prediction.
