There’s hope for the TagCloud folks

After I made my post about TagCloud yesterday, I followed it up with an email. I’m happy to say I got a response today and, with permission, here it is:

Chris, I appreciate the blog post. Right now, we are right in the middle
of moving our database and getting up on the new servers. At the same
time, we are doing a lot of work on our indexing process to make it mo’
better. I can’t give you an exact date as to when TagCloud will kick ass
again, but you should see improvements by Feb. 1.
