Feed changing, kind of

As I’ve puttered about on the server(s) this weekend (this blog has been moved a lot in the last few days!) I’ve kept on eye on my logs to make sure people could still reach wherever I had just plopped it down. (tail -f /var/log/... = geek?). One thing I noticed is that my RSS urls get hit a lot! Which actually, I think is very cool — and has some interesting implications on server load and analytics, not to mention the web browsing model of the future.
But I digress. I realized that I could offload a lot of that traffic to the folks at FeedBurner and let them help me out with bandwidth a bit. And gee, they’ll show me some stats that I currently don’t see from my own feeds. So, I grabbed Ordered Lists’ Feedburner plugin and got it working this morning. Mostly.
My RSS feed address is now: http://feeds.feedburner.com/SoloTechnology
Those who accessed my RSS via http://www.solo-technology.com/blog/feed/ get redirected there automagically, but I’d appreciate it if you would update your feed link — and you’ll get a faster response when you “pull”.
I still have an issue with my rewrites though. A lot of folks are getting feeds from http://www.solo-technology.com/blog/index.php/feed (very similar to above, but with that icky index.php wedged in), and I can’t seem to get that one to redirect to feedburner. While I work on that, again — please update your rss feed link if you can.
As always, holler if I broke something. ![]()

You know you love being a geek, admit it.
Heck yeah!
Pipe your tailed logs to http://freshmeat.net/projects/colorize.pl/, it makes them pretty!
ooooh! now THAT is a BSO. Thanks!
Hrrm, something didn’t go quite right with the new feed for me. I updated Thunderbird with the new URL and now I only get subject lines, no body content. Any ideas?
I’ve tried it with netvibes and bloglines with success. Not sure why you’re only getting sub lines. If you point your browser at http://feeds.feedburner.com/SoloTechnology do you see body text too?
