Wouldn’t it be great if:
-
… Wordpress’s WYSIWYG editor was just a wee bit more useable? I’m sorry, but I want to use but I can’t quite trust it.
-
… Ajax/Web 2.0 desktop apps (netvibes, goowy, google/ig, and friends) offered more than one page? I like a bunch of ‘em — and maybe I’m missing the point — but I like to use them as RSS feed reader/catchers and one page too quickly fills up.
-
… Speaking of Goowy, goowy got their IM stuff done? I heard an interview today where Alex mentions that’s coming soon. That will make Goowy very very interesting. But, hopefully they’ll see this next one first …
-
… Meebo let me alias myself and others -and- adds a logging feature? Those two little features and I, personally, would call that thing perfect.
-
… folks would relax a bit about the Google Desktop thing? Corporate concerns? Have a look at this Google Enterprise post…
I’m just sayin…

So many points…
WYSIWYG for wordpress works great for me for all but javascript so far. What’s it not doing? Oh, and I’d like tables to be a button.
Not as big on rss feeds to need a second page yet, but I can see that I’d need more soon myself and I don’t read as many as you hehehe.
I used Meebo today and missed the logging feature right away in it. Being able to log in all at once was nice. I won’t use it for gtalk because I don’t want to give them my gmail password hehehe.
Whew, goodnight nurse I’m spent.
About the wordpress editor…as I told you on IM, there’s no need to even see it…use flock and stop suffering
The other things…I don’t care about any of them one way or another lol!

Check out http://www.pageflakes.com - we already offer multiple pages.
Cheers

Rich - I find the wysiwyg editor just a bit braindead when it comes to some of the formatting I want it to do. I can’t predictably coax paragraphs vs. breaks out of it either, so I spend a lot of time previewing posts to make sure stuff looks “right”. I’ve also found (and logged) some bugs with how it handles specific tags (nesting lists, for example).
Vox - yeah yeah, I know. I need to look at flock some day…
Ole - Well, true. in fact, check out the next post on this blog… *cough*
