Now with Mobile flavor

Saw a new WordPress plugin a few days ago and, since I’m all motivated on blog stuff right now, thought I should give it a look. Alex King’s Wordpress Mobile Edition. What’s it do? Detects (somehow!) a mobile browser and feeds it a delightfully slimmed down version of the blog. See it in action.

I like what it does, but I may see if I can’t tweak it a wee bit. Maybe add a spot of the orange… Slick though as it is done with one plugin file, and then the wp-mobille.php and css files that go in the “main” directory. As-is, it works great on my Pocket PC and phone.

Stuff like this should be part of the core product someday, I hope.
