My post last night included a link to this post. I didn't fill in the trackback field in performancing, but there's my reference to it right above your comment.

For me, that's sufficient (I assume that's a pingback, but I still really dunno the diff between a pingback and a trackback!).

Yes, I'm saying that Flock does the trackback thing automatically, but Performancing doesn't seem able to do it on its own...the trackback that shows up here was done by hand {in the Posting Preferences or whatever, you add the url for trackbacking)...and I'm still not sure if I like that or not.
On the other hand, it being part of my main browser is a big big BIG plus for Performancing, so...I'm using it until I get pissed off at it for the trackback thing lol!

Brings up an interesting point. I NEVER (ok rarely) use the trackback field when writing a post in WP. Pingback seems to happen automatically so I just don't sweat it as WP handles 'em similarlily enough.

So, are you saying you do the same, but those aren't automatically happening? That'd be a bummer.

Ok, I found the first problem with performacing compared to Flock...it doesn't auto-trackback. When I write a blog with a link to your blog, in Flock it does the trackback to the linked post when I post it on my site...with Performancer, it doesn't happen...I'm not sure how I feel about that, yet

I have been using Flock for my blogging...and it's a very nice tool...the only defect it has is that it's not my primary browser, which makes it a bit of a PITA when I'm writing a new post and need URLs and things like that from my regular browser (firefox).
So...now I'm gonna have to try Performancing and see how it goes...thanks :)
