Netvibes adds online storage

From the Netvibes blog:

Now you have a 1 GB hard drive available all the time on your desktop. And if you add some MP3s you can clic on them, they will play automatically.

This is through integration with Box.net. So, if you already have an account there, you can get your stuff easily through Netvibes. If you don’t have an account, they’ll get you one easily. And not only can you see your online files, but you can easily add directories or files via the netvibes interface. This evening, uploading is very slow but I suspect that’s due to a large number of folks all trying it at the same time…

Slick stuff. Box.net happens to be a place I’ve been using to hold some backup type stuff.

Hrrm, this might be neat if you could access the file space with SFTP or something similar.
