Blog Comment Tracking

I wrote a bit about a month ago on CoComment.com as it seems(seemed?) like a pretty neat way to keep track of where I’ve left comments. Granted, since then I’ve tripped over a wrinkle or two, but if nothing else it at least gave me a list of sites/posts to check back with.
However, it has been a few days since I could visit their site. I wonder if they’re just moving, had issues or disappeared? Seems a little too soon to fold up the tents?
[Update] They’ve been having DNS issues.
Meanwhile, now I have an excuse to look into co.mments.com. It doesn’t appear to be exactly the same as CoComments (here’s the intro page) so I have’t quite sorted it out yet… but it seems similar and it appears to be up and working so… I’ll write a bit more about it shortly. I’ve just now created an account there and it looks pretty slick.

Ya know, this thing is so dead simple to use, I really didn’t see the need to start another post. I’ll just add a paragraph or two here instead.
Registration is simple – username, email address and password and you’re in. Once in, there’s really not too much to do or stress about. Grab the obligatory bookmarklet and you’re pretty much set.
You can “track conversations” a couple different ways. Either go to your co.mments.com page and add the url directly:

Or, just use the bookmarklet when you’re at the site you want to track.
To see what you’re tracking, just go to your “Track” page. You’ll see each article you’ve opted to track. Immediately below that article will be an area that tells you how many comments are on the article (hit the “+” to see the comments) and then options to Remove, Ping and Clear that article. Remove does just what you’d think – removes it from your tracking. Ping (awkward name) will check in real time to see if there are any newer comments. Clear will remove the comments up to that point. Good way to get rid of the ones you’ve already read.
Simple. Easy. Responsive.

Please read the "Comments" section on the Disclaimer page. Don't use SEO terms instead of a name. That drives me nuts.
Oh, and contrary to what you might have read on some SEO forum, this is not a "Do Follow" blog.

Ok, let’s see how good this co.mments thing is
For somebody that who has a very bad memory who can never remember where he dropped a comment, this is a good idea…let’s hope it’s also a good implementation
How do you keep up with yourself? Geez, how much stuff can one person put on their comptuer?
BTW- Hope your having fun in WOW. EQ misses you.
Hey, you need a place to ask questions.
I have a friend that is looking into RSS feeds . What do you recommend? I gave him your site to poke around on.
Thanks

I prefer co.mments because it has worked on more blogs for me than cocomments and keeps track of all the replies (not only the ones made by other cocomments users), but I do keep the cocomments Firefox extension installed which automatically puts comments I leave on cocomments-compatible blogs into cocomments.
I really am trying to get better about this following-up-with-comments thing
