Online Office Stuff

Or maybe this post should be titled “Office 2.0″? Granted, that seems like a very contrived and somewhat awkward term to me… but it seems to be catching on. In fact, a few nights ago I had the novel idea (ok, not so novel in retrospect) that I should spend some time chasing down all of the various bits and slices of online office apps. I’d look at each, beg for a beta where necessary and do some playing with and have a nice source of future blog posts.
Then this “Office 2.0 database” site popped up in my searching.
My whelm is over’d. I’m daunted. In fact, I ended up just walking away from the computer for the weekend. And, based on some of the way too many betas I’ve previously signed up for (I really should keep track of what I sign up for, eh?) I’m reasonably certain that’s not even a complete list.
Check out that site though if you’re looking for assorted online thingamobobs — they’ve got quite a list. As for my little project idea? I think I’ve scrapped it for the moment. I’m sure I’ll find some other bright shiny objects to write about soon!
(but Gliffy still rocks)
