Saw a post about a new service called ElephantDrive come across Digg this morning and thought it looked interesting. Free unlimited online storage? Heck yeah! So I sent myself a sabifoo message and finally got around to checking it out tonight. Gotta like something that starts like:
ElephantDrive provides an unlimited amount of online storage for your photos, music, video, documents, whatever!
Other interesting things on the front page, like mention of free while in beta (not a mention of pricing when out of beta, but heck — how many web 2.0 companies ever actually leave beta?!?). So I click the button to get started and get presented with:
(click for larger)
A cardinal sin? Nah, not really. But is that what you want to see before handing over your data to a new service? I haven’t even looked into the CA yet, but it was a bit jarring…
And that’s as far as I got with that one today.
