Every now and then something on Digg grabs my attention. Today, it was titled “Plant a phone call to yourself. You’ll need it!” and a link to Popularity Dialer. What a terrible, twisted, socially retarded yet sooo cool concept! I’m ashamed for loving it. Long story short: Have a meeting A bit of a hodge-podge today… Was recently going through my BlinkList stuff searching for something I just knew I had “Quick Blinked” recently. While there, I stumbled over some nifty stuff I’d tossed in there the past few months. More on one of those next paragraph. I also realized that I have WordPress 2.0.4 is out. (fix list). At first glance it looks like a security release but has a lot of bug fixes as well. Some of the bug fixes look interesting — in fact, some of them look like issues that I’d been stumped on trying to help folks in the Want to try IE7 but don’t want to lose IE6? Give a look at the IE7 Standalone project, recently updated for beta 3. Saw an interesting announcement at the Netvibes blog today: Netvibes added a Meebo module. This is tremendously cool (and horribly overloaded at the moment… but it worked well earlier today when I tried it). Netvibes and Goowy have quite an interesting horse race going on.
