Looking for some WordPress support?

As mentioned before, I hang out at the WordPress support forums fairly regularly. Generally a rewarding place to be — I live for those responses of “omg, that worked. Thanks!” And I learn something new just about every day.
It’s always nice to find useful resources that I can pass on to folks needing help. I’ve seen 3 in just the past few days so thought I’d share ‘em all here.
- Rachel’s WordPress Quickstart Screencast (part 1). Educational and a great accent. You can’t hardly go wrong. She runs you through the common steps involved with installing a WP blog.
- Lorelle’s One Year Anniversary Review. Tons and tons of links into the Codex and past articles on her site. Some good advice and some direct links for common situations.
- Sam’s Troubleshooting WordPress Installs article. Good reference to the installation process (works well alongside Rachel’s screencast) and some more links into the Codex along with common installation issues and resolutions.
A lot of my traffic here is direct from search engines, so hopefully this collection of links will help somehow someday. If not, stop by the forums and say howdy!
