BlinkList, typically known as a social bookmarking site, rolled out the notion of “Spaces” a few weeks ago. To be honest, I still haven’t quite figured it all out and until today hadn’t really determined any need for me to try.
As I’ve been plodding through all of my un-tagged bookmarks (see yesterday’s post) I realized I’ve gained quite a collection of WordPress related links. Mostly for themes or plugins that are useful or might be useful in the future. Upon that realization, I created my first BlinkList Space: WordPress links. Right now it grabs anything tagged with “WordPress”. Oh, and this page from BlinkList helped me figure out what a “Space” is. Took maybe all of 2 minutes to get it rolling.
I’m a bit fuzzy on how some of it works, but I’ll try to figure it out as I go. For instance, I’m not the only contributor, so I’m not sure why only my name is listed as a top contrib. Seems odd.
Maybe it’ll be useful? Maybe it’ll be interesting?

hi chris! thanks for giving BlinkList Spaces a go!
I work on the BlinkList team, and your blog posts have been very useful feedback for me. BlinkList Spaces was rolled out at a very early stage, and from here on, we hope to rapidly improve the communication of how it works, and make the user experience more intuitive.
Do visit us at our community forums sometime, http://groups.google.com/group/BlinkList , and if you need ANY personal support for your space at all, drop me a line!
Thanks again Chris!

Thanks Khailee. I’m curious to see how this Spaces thing turns out. Right now it strikes me as an interesting way to aggregate related links. I’m curious to see where you guys go with it.
[...] Publicly sharing a tab is easy, and fun. You’re wondering how it can be fun? I think it’s akin to blinklist spaces idea that Handy talks about. Part of the fun is the ego of watching as the views go up… sadly my tab isn’t sky-rocketing in favorites yet. Soon though… oh yes… soon! Muahahahahaha *cough*cough*cough* [...]
