Simple Electric Motor

My neighbor showed up today and tossed a battery, small magnet, drywall screw and and 8 inches of wire on the counter and said, “Build the motor.” His inspiration was this article. Fascinating and fun. We challenged another neighbor and he had as much success as I did (aka none) before being shown how. Might have to take this to the office on Monday…
