Firefox 2.0 Released

I mentioned Firefox 2, Beta 2 (which generated a large number of hits from being mentioned here).
I then mentioned Firefox 2 Release Candidate 2.

Now, I’m pleased to mention that Firefox 2 was released last night. It’s real. What’s changed since RC2? I haven’t the foggiest. I’m sure there’s a list somewhere but I sure couldn’t find it. Regardless, I’ve really been digging the releases since beta 2 and am happy to see this one.

The “What’s New” page makes for some good reading if you haven’t been trying the betas or release candidates.

I wouldn’t call this a ground-breaking release, but in my opinion it’s definitely worth making the jump from 1.5 to 2. There’s definitely enough incremental change to justify it — so go get it!
