XML Notepad 2007

Just a couple months after XML Notepad 2006 was introduced, we now have XML Notepad 2007. At first glance it looks to be an incremental update. Some new search hotkeys (yay!), a default XSL transform (useful) and some bug fixes.
I still have to play a bit, but the default XSL transform seems to act as a shortcut/alternative to the “View Source” menu item. But color-coded. I like it.
If you were using the ‘06 flavor, there appears to be no reason to not grab this (still free) update.

Nice - we had the ‘06 version and will certainly check out the latest. We mostly use Notepad++(http://notepad-plus.sourceforge.net/uk/site.htm) for some of the same reasons you mention above. Great post!
Good point, I also often use Notepad++ for viewing XML. And, if on a machine without that, I’ll often just use IE to view an XML snippet — it does a decent job of styling too.
