The Power of Together, aka The Power of Free Vista and Office 2007.
As part of a promotion touting the wonders of Vista and Outlook 2007, folks have the ability to score a copy of each. Free!
To get Vista Business (here’s a chart detailing the assorted Vista flavors), watch three or more webcasts and hand over a bunch of information about yourself. IE only, natch. You have 30 days from when you signed up -and- you must be a US Resident.
Office Professional 2007 appears to be a similar deal, but the site crashed when I went to check. It must have already hit the big blogs. As I recall from the front page, for Office you’ll need to do three webcasts or “vlabs”, and then the poll again.
If you don’t mind giving up some information, it’s a heckuva good way to get some new software. But you may need to wait a few hours or days. Right now the site is not all that stable.
[Update Dec 3, 06] Sold out. No more freebies.
