I actually have both items set in a Firefox extension called My Morning Coffee (http://www.shaneliesegang.com/projects/coffee.php). It works well, but it loads a bunch of other pages I need for work and stuff. But I did use the option to add an HTML page to a single tab in Netvibes and have gReader in that. I found this thing called <a href="http://eco.netvibes.com/widgets/6/bitty-browser" rel="nofollow">bitty browser</a> and installed it on a separate tab. I have it set to my google reader page and it's nice because I don't have to open another window for greader. Not sure if this is helpful or not. Cheers!
