Anyone else think an Omnidrive thingy would be nifty in Netvibes?
I already have a box.net one in Netvibes, but it only seems to work when viewed in a windows/firefox browser. All others seem borked… But heck, I’m using Omnidrive more lately, so…

Thanks for the tip. And yes, its coming, more than just file browsing too
Fun for the city… I tried last night to drag from box.net to Omnidrive… they don’t like to do that hehehe. The problem was with box.net though. It wouldn’t drag. It was download only.
Playing with omnidrive I ran a program from the virtual drive it set up on my computer, which was cool.
I couldn’t figure out how to get a spreadsheet from zoho to omni without going through my desktop, but that’s not a big deal yet since it’s available at zoho.com and if I’ve got ‘net access I can get it there anyway.
On program that is unrelated that drove me nuts that you recommend was mozy. I uninstalled it after a day. You can’t turn it off! I game, and when I game I cut my taskbar down to time, firewall, and that’s about it… mozy wouldn’t get out of memory. It’s not big, but I’m not going to back-up while gaming. I don’t need mozy to not do what I want it to. Progs that I can’t turn off don’t last long on my computer. It lasted a day.
OH. I forgot… the omnidrive icon in the taskbar… too busy, too ugly, and just needs to go. It fug’s up my taskbar something fierce.
Rich: the taskbar icon will be dissapearing soon, there will be an option for users who want to have it there, but that will be a much better taskbar icon that will let you open the web interface and provide shortcuts to other cool things
As for spreadsheets, support is coming this Wednesday - we will announce it on the blog
Thanks for your feedback
