One click to open a Gmail attachment in Google Documents & Spreadsheets. That rather beats the crap out of downloading to desktop and then re-uploading, doesn’t it?

Want to do the same with Zoho? Arvind, over at Rich’s blog, pointed out this article that has potential.

Should be interesting. Will Gmail users use what’s convenient (Google Docs) or what’s arguably better (Zoho apps) but not as integrated…

   So far it only works for .doc files, but as soon as there is the ability to import via e-mail excel files into zoho I’ll be able to open all my work files automatically from zoho as soon as they arrive in my inbox.

   I’m very excited about it, and grateful to the guys at zoho for pointing me at that link.

   Think we should make it possible for users to directly open GMail attachments in Zoho. Rest assured that we will try our very best.

   Will Gmail users use what’s convenient…….

   wow! wonderful line, I’m sure that people will love to use something which is better and as far as convenience is concerned…it’s a matter of two or three steps only and once done, people will find more convenience in using Zoho rather than Google docs.
