Cozi Central - Family. Organized

With a working wife and three kids ranging from 15 to 6, I’ll be the first to admit I’m frequently a bit confused about who needs to be where — and when they need to be there. My wife and I have spent many evenings and weekends doing a complicated vehicle dance to get everyone in the right place at the right time. Sometimes we even get it right.
Cozi Central appears to be the solution to challenges like we face.
Cozi Central™ is free software that’s easy to use, accessible wherever you are, and offers a shared calendar, lists, quick messages, and a dynamic photo collage.
Run it via a PC based install or through a web browser from anywhere. Color-coded family calendars are really cool. Check out more of the screen-shots on this page of the press kit. (This one really shows it off)
Interesting side note:
About a year and a half ago I had a visitor from Microsoft interview my wife and I about some sort of planned “family tracking” application. Cozi seems to be very similar to what we discussed at the time. Only wrinkle there is that the Cozi managers are former Microsofties.
I wonder if this project is related to project I was interviewed about? Are they a spin-off maybe?
Regardless, check it out. I only lack one key ingredient to make this thing really work for me:
A computer in the kitchen.
I’m short on laptops, but as soon as I can scrounge up a laptop and wifi, the family and I are going to be all over this one!

thats pretty cool software IF you are one of those families that have a computer in the kitchen or something…
otherwise an ordinary whiteboard will do.
btw im testing comment out to see if it will display as i came here through your comment from wp-cache2 site.
True. A big ol’ calendar on the fridge and a lot of stickies get us by.
