Vitalist Updates
Vitalist is a web based GTD application I looked at just a few days ago. Since that first look there have been a couple nice enhancements that I find useful.
The first one was mentioned in their blog: Email to Your Inbox. Vitalist users can send an email to a special Vitalist address and the subject line becomes the action title, the email contents get appended to the Notes field. Very handy as just about anything electronic can send email these days. Now to build a robust/useful IM-to-email gateway… (note to self: search for that, maybe it already exists).
I haven’t seen the second enhancement mentioned on their blog yet, but it is pretty hard not to miss. Added to the little toolbar at the top of every page is now an option to add the page’s contents to a Netvibes module.

Pretty nifty, huh? Now, if we could check-off tasks from that Netvibes module…
What I think is cool about this is that I suggested these in my “first look” article. No no no, I’m not claiming credit for ‘em — I know I’m not the only one who has ever asked for these. But it still is a large positive to see suggested items become reality.
I started migrating over to Vitalist Monday evening. I might observe that I fall in love with GTD apps all too easily, but I do like the way this one “feels.” Especially the way the Inbox works.
