Yet Another New Look

I’ve (yet again) switched to a new theme here on the blog. While I really liked the “visual” styling of my last one, it just wasn’t quite working for me. Too much had to go at the bottom of the page and not enough folks even knew that stuff was down there!

Going in quite a new direction, this new theme has two sidebars, both on the right. Everything I want to display is in there — somewhere. What’s there as I write this is subject to change over time…

Thumbnail shot of new Solo Technology blog themeThe theme is a direct descendant of Modern Paper from Peformancing.com (designed by the talented Brian Gardener). I’ve renamed it (slightly) as I have some potentially larger changes for it. But for now, I’ve focused mainly on colors and some minor layout tweaks. I added a single.php so as to style the individual post view more to my liking. I also modified the index.php to display my asides style too. And of course, my own title style. Busy busy busy.

I have some color tweaking left while I ponder some larger scale changes. As always, if you see anything clearly borked or have thoughts on the new look please drop me a comment.

    Love the new look.
It’s clean and more like an online news site.
    great job!
