Using StumbleUpon Firefox Extension with Navigator 9 beta

Since I’m using the Netscape Navigator 9 beta, I decided I’d have to install some extensions. StumbleUpon’s Firefox extension was among the first.
Alas, upon installation it assured me that it wasn’t valid for my version of Navigator and would only work for 8.x versions. Nuts.
So, I opted to download the extension to my local machine. Just right-click and save from the extensions page:

Next, I popped that open with 7zip (my favorite archive tool) and extracted the file install.rdf.
From there, I opened up install.rdf with my favorite text editor (aka Notepad++) and looked for the <!-- Netscape Browser --> stanza.
I changed the value of <i:maxversion> to 9.1, saved it and updated the stumbleupon-3.05-fx+mz+ns+sm+fl.xpi archive with it.
Finally, I dragged that xpi file onto the browser and installed the extension. So far, it works great and I’m happy (and easily amused, but we knew that already).
