OneNote and Best Practices

OneNote box logo I’m an unashamed Microsoft OneNote fan and have been for quite some time. I’ve used it in so many different ways over the years. Heck, right now I’m several weeks into using it as my primary GTD system (which is going quite well, I might add).

I happened to catch a link to an interesting video today that I’d though I’d share: OneNote 2007 – An Executive’s Best Practices. Some good stuff there for the new or potential user.

Perhaps some of the lurkers from work will have a look. Recently, several folks have expressed interest into OneNote and my assorted uses of it. I even gave an impromptu overview a few days ago.

It’s not for everyone (especially those not running a Windows machine!), but I find it an excellent way to organize and track data, projects and anything else as the whim strikes. I’ve found some online options that are interesting or might come close some day (hi Zoho Notebook) but in my opinion none are there yet.
