Safari Usage

Apple’s Safari for Windows (beta) was announced almost 5 weeks ago. Since that time, Safari (all versions) have accounted for 3.1% of the page views here.
Of that 3.1% views were via some version of Safari. However, the Safari/Windows combination is at .30% here. I filter my traffic out, none of those were my testing.
Hmm, not taking the world by storm quite yet — at least not in the sub-section of the world that stopped by this particular site. How about yours?

I’ve not really seen any usage on my sites.
I’m curious though, is there any advantage in knowing what browsers a visitor is using - other than simply making sure your pages display properly on most browsers?
Is there any type of marketing edge you’ve gained from knowing about visitor browser type?
No advantage that I’m aware of, beyond what you mentioned.
I’m not sure how you could use it for marketing, but that’s an interesting thing to ponder.
