I’ll be going mostly off line for a week very soon. I can’t wait! A break from some crazy hours at work and some family time will be very refreshing.

I’ve been pondering how best to handle my absence here on the blog and would prefer not to “go dark” for that long. Normally I might have tried to get a few posts saved and set to appear on future dates, but I’ve just not had the time.

So, anyone interested in doing a guest article? Have an article you’d like to write that would fit in with the general theme of this place? Perhaps a look at an interesting web application or gadget? An overview of some new technology? A small essay on a favorite tech topic?

I can’t offer money (hell, I can’t even pay myself!), but I can offer a few sentences intro with a link or two to your blog and/or business. I think I’m still PR5 and seem to shuffle a tolerable amount of traffic through here for what that’s worth. :-)

If you’d be interested in writing an article, drop me a note via my contact form with a bit of an intro and proposal of what you’d like to write (or if you’ve already written it, just send that). I may exercise a minimum of editorial control, but I promise not to trample your articles. I’ll respond as quickly as I can, depending on my connectivity options.

What do you say, anyone interested?

I’m pretty new to this notion — be gentle!
