Blast(s) From the Past

Earlier this evening I was trying to track down a registration key for some software I had purchased a couple years ago. Pocket PC software to be precise (Ok, All-In Hold ‘Em, if you must know)
I was getting nervous about finding that reg key, starting to wonder if it was left in the old Outlook archives that I hadn’t pumped up to my Gmail account. Fortunately, I finally recalled where I had ordered it.
I logged into Handango and received a very pleasant surprise. All the assorted software I’ve purchased since ‘02 is there in my Purchase history, ready to download and use again!
How cool is that?
Some cool stuff, even the EverQuest Pocket PC game my wife bought me five years ago! Ooh, and Resco Explorer, an awesome File Explorer replacement. Sweet, I’d forgotten that I owned it.
Suppose I’ll download and install TigerSuite and see what it’s like. I don’t really even remember buying it… but network tools are always fun. I do remember buying the Plog diet tracker though. Looks like it is free now? Good stuff, maybe I should start using it again…
And those are just the tip of the iceberg. This is almost like an extra birthday this year. What a great service Handango has going to keep that stuff online all these years.
Now I need to remember where else I’ve bought software from over the years….

Amazon has the digital lockbox feature which is similar.
Good to know, thanks!
I found some more of my oldies at PocketGear.com too.
