DMCA Notice — New Direction for TV On the Go

Whoops! This isn’t what you want to see in your mailbox first thing in the morning:
The first line:
Notice of Action under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
It’s a “notice” though, not a legal action if I’m interpreting it correctly.
I’m not going to concede or deny what’s detailed in that email. However, I am going to use this as a sign that it is time to take my little “TV On the Go” series in a different direction… a more legit direction. I don’t want to encourage folks to get into trouble…
(And yes, some friends have mentioned Peer Guardian to me, but frankly I can’t afford to take the risk of losing my now fast broadband).
Amazon Unbox is no good for me as their formats appear to not be iPAQ friendly. Where else should I look to buy TV episodes in a mobile friendly format (or one that can be easily transcoded)? I’ll be doing some digging around, but I’m very open to ideas and suggestions. Hell, I might even break down and try iTunes if the formats are decent…
Side note: Not mobile, but I like Fox’s “Fox on Demand” site for watching their shows on the computer. No mobile option though.

Does TivoToGo transcode to something and iPAQ can consume?

If only I didn’t have to buy a Tivo first.
… Comcast should offer a service like that.
I get my TV shows through netflix. I got one of those notices also one time and did not want to take any more risks after that.
If they send you an email it’s best to back off right away. The second one won’t be pleasant.
@Andy - not a bad idea, I hadn’t thought of that. I could just wait and get a season’s worth at a time.
@Emporer - I suspect you’re spot on and I’m in no hurry to test that theory.
