Well huh — There really *is* a Google PC!

Back in January of ‘06, I put out a speculative little article titled, “The Google PC?“  Almost two years later, there really is a Google PC!  Well, kinda.  It is by Everex, called a gPC and runs an operating system called gOS (apparently a linux variant).

It sports a VIA based CPU, 512MB of ram and a bunch of open source software. Looks like you just need to add a monitor.  Go get yourself one at your neighborhood Walmart.
