Google Reader Sharing

Ok, this is wild! I just fired up Google Reader:

My feed list now includes friends’ (using Google Reader) shared stuff!

Ah, I see I hadn’t yet read “Reader and Talk are Friends.” (click that!)
I think I need to get more friends on my Google Talk to make this more interesting.

Heady stuff and downright social. I need to take some time to digest this… but I think it’s cool(?). Thoughts or initial impressions from other Google Reader users?

Do you have any shared items? I don’t see any from any of my friends. The invite friend’s interface is weird. It looks like I am inviting them to use google reader, but quite a few of them already are???

Hey Nathan — I have over 600 shared :-p. You have my work email address on GTalk, but my Reader stuff is associated with a diff. account.

I just sent you a message for a talk invite.
