Another Method of YouTube Converting

A bit over a year ago I wrote “Want YouTube videos on your iPod?“, an article that received a fair amount of search engine traffic. While there were some options that worked ok, I stumbled over a new option recently.

imageThere’s not a whole lot of information about ConvertTube on their site (I notice the copyright is to meetadeveloper.com for what that’s worth), but if you want to get a YouTube video converted to something you can put on a device, it sure seems to work quite well. Easy too. Just plop in the url, tick the appropriate format box and kick back and wait.

You can do one conversion every 15 minutes, or you can pay for more. My daughter seems to be patiently filling up her 30GB Zune on the free plan. Dedication…
