The Google folks just made a good day even better. No longer must I whine about the poopy IMAP support to Gmail from my Windows Mobile 6 phone. Nay, no more. For they have fixed it! There are a lot of email clients out there, each with its own quirks, so making IMAP work across all of Continue reading Google Mail IMAP WORKS with Windows Mobile! I’ve spent the evening uninstalling Windows Live OneCare from three of our home machines. I bought it on a whim last year when I was able to get an introductory offer — 3 machines for $19. Renewal time is coming up but now at the real price of $49. Still not a bad price for I flashed my Windows Mobile 6 based phone recently, so I had the opportunity to reload it with applications that I use — versus those that [at one point] looked neat, but I hardly ever touched. Turns out there were a lot fewer of the former and quite a few of the latter. Before I started With the help of Alex King’s WordPress Mobile Edition plugin and an hour or so of theme hacking, I’m pleased to announce that the Solo Tech blog is now much more mobile friendly. (long time readers may remember I did this almost 2 years ago. For some reason, I had disabled it though…) Here’s the home I’ve been on a quest the past two weekends to cleanup the home office. I’ve made a lot of great progress and I think I see the end. For instance, I had stacks of books all over the place — many that hadn’t been opened in years.
