Mobile Themed

With the help of Alex King’s WordPress Mobile Edition plugin and an hour or so of theme hacking, I’m pleased to announce that the Solo Tech blog is now much more mobile friendly. (long time readers may remember I did this almost 2 years ago. For some reason, I had disabled it though…)

Here’s the home page when viewed from my phone:

The hacking was pretty light-weight. I added a splash of color for the header (seriously, you think I’d pass on the orange and black?) and then added tags and related posts displays to the individual posts. For some reason, the mobile theme wasn’t showing “posted by” and time/date information, so I shuffled that around to get it displayed as well.

If you’re using a mobile device, just browse to the regular URL and you should get the mobile flavor. Nifty, huh?
