The FolderShare team blog announced updates! They celebrated by launching the blog — so there’s a bit of a recursion challenge there… But, now that I’ve found the blog I’ve found the updates. Or vice-versa. Or something.
Anyways:
Today we’re unveiling:
• A new website designed to make managing your FolderShare libraries and computers even easier.
• A new FolderShare with a better setup, a better system tray menu, and better performance on Windows Vista.
• Improvements on the backend to keep FolderShare running more smoothly and reliably.
I use FolderShare quite a bit at work (past articles) and am excited to see the facelift and improvements. Or at least, I hope I’m excited, I won’t have a chance to try it out until after an upcoming vacation.
The new web interface is certainly much more attractive, for what that’s worth. It also seems faster when browsing remote machines.
Stay tuned…
