Exciting stuff — no more trying to remember if you properly signed out of your Gmail session on the last PC you were using. Gmail will soon have the ability to show you all your active sessions, where they’re from and allow you to remotely sign them out.
That’s so very cool and you can read all about it at Remote sign out and info to help you protect your Gmail account at the Gmail Blog.
If you are anything like me, you probably sign in to Gmail from multiple computers. I, for example, occasionally sign into my Gmail account from a friend’s house when I need to check an important email. Usually I remember to sign out, but every once in a while I wonder if I really did. Now I no longer have to wonder.
Something like this will be at the bottom of your Gmail inbox:

You’ll be able to click on “Details” to see what’s really going on as well.
I look forward to this change.
