Google Talk Labs Edition

Are you a Google Talk user? Have you tried the latest “labs edition” version? Pretty cool, huh?
Hey, could I use four question marks in one paragraph?
In general, the new labs version is pretty slick – the calendar notifications with snooze option have, in particular, been quite popular at the office. Seriously, it rocks.
But you know what you can’t do? Select text in a conversation to copy/paste elsewhere. Nope, not an option. No can do. Don’t even bother.
My work around? Head over to the “All Mail” view in the appropriate Gmail account and copy/paste from the chat transcript found there instead.
Just pray that the person you’re chatting with hasn’t blocked conversation recording…

Also Google Talk labs edition, lacks the voice or “[Google] Talk” feature (and voicemail I assume) as well as file transfer.
I had no idea about the lack of copying and pasting! Wow what a drag. Thanks for the heads up. I will stick with the still awesome stagnate Google Talk client with Gmail Notification built in.

Yeah, I think the limit is three question marks in one paragraph. After that, I believe there’s a 2cent tax from the Federal Bureau of Gramaticaliticans.
Thanks for the tip on Google labs. They always seem to have some interesting new thing coming out.
