Here’s something that was just pointed out to me today by a friend at work. I’m embarrassed to say I don’t know when this became a feature… but I sure am excited to see it. The free version of Hamachi now includes the ability to run as a service! How cool is that? This is a Just in case you hadn’t seen this yet… Get CodeWeavers‘ CrossOver (both Pro and Games versions) free today (October 28, 2008) only. This is software that allows you to run Windows apps on Linux and Macs. Yep, it is based on wine, but manages to take things to another level for compatibility and ease. I’ve used their Just a casual observation… but it seems like a lot of corporate Security Officers are anti-change. Shouldn’t they strive to be Agents of Change instead? Want to moderate your WordPress blog comments without having to log into the site? Check out Moderator, a combination WP plugin and Adobe AIR app that streamlines the entire process.
I haven’t tried it out myself (I’m trying to minimize distractions!) but it sure looks like a great idea. Anyone using it? Thoughts or impressions?
