Google Mail for Mobile Upgraded

Did you see the announcement for Google Mail Mobile 2.0 this week (mobile link)? It is truly incredible! Now, I have no clue how much better it really is than previous versions… I could never actually get the earlier version to run on my WinMo phone but I definitely like this a lot.
You know what I think the absolute best feature is? It supports multiple accounts – including, of course, Google Apps email accounts. Don’t need to mess with different URLs and logging in and out. Just flip accounts from the menu with two taps and *bam* you’re on the other account.
I love that.
It is also fast, responsive and easy to use. The offline support is kind of cool too, but honestly I’m rarely out of signal with my phone. (not many subways in Denver)
Know what I don’t like? No labels support!
I hate that. Seriously, it makes me sad.
I’m not totally thrilled about it being a J2ME app, but I have to admit it is one of the smoothest and fastest loading I’ve ever used – I think I can adapt.
Aside from the labels thing, so far I think it kicks the pants out of the mobile web version. Not sure if it beats my phones native IMAP functionality though. At least, not for convenience. Time will tell though.

Oh, and contrary to what you might have read on some SEO forum, this is not a "Do Follow" blog.

I saw the announcement yesterday, got it installed on my SonyEricsson w580i. Definitely faster and more useable, the only thing that bothers me is that it won’t let me use any aliases (I have multiple addresses forwarding into the same inbox, so I select which address I want to reply from – can’t do that mobile)
Thank you for this information i will try it on my mobile phone.
Somehow I havent been able to get it up and running on my SEw810i as yet. Any help will be appreciated.
thanks fot the info
will try on my phone
