Vista x64 Lowered My Score

I mentioned that I went back to Vista a few weeks ago and so far everything seems to be working just fine. Upon reflection, I think I can safely say that if it wasn’t for my gaming I really wouldn’t have much preference between Linux and Windows (Vista or XP). They all get the job done…

When I loaded Vista this most recent time, I decided to try the 64-bit variant. No real reason (or need). And again, so far it all seems just fine. After checking my Vista Experience numbers I noticed that everything is exactly the same as it was when I had 32-bit Vista installed except that my Processor Score dropped! It was a 4.1, now it is a 4.0.  (screen shot of older score)

Weird, huh?

I definitely am not saying that I’ve noticed anything slow. In fact, in general things seem faster now than I recall with the previous install.
