Not to be out-done I've set up my blog on there as well.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002A9JO92

After pre-viewing my blog with their kindle preview I see that if I get a huge percentage of kindle readers I may need to figure out how to format more friendly for that. The pictures for example are particularly beautiful in 16 shades of grey.

Interested to see that links to outside sites show up... curious how they would view on the kindle, flickr for example. While I'm pretty sure amazon affiliate links would show up just fine. Wonder if credit is faster for affiliate sales through kindle since there's no return or chance of non-payment. Hrm... so many questions.

It was very easy to set up though. Still, if I were you... I'd blog a how to on it just for the google fu. :P

Part of my inspiration was simply to claim my site before someone else thought it would be a good idea to sell it on Kindle ;-)

And to your subsequent comment: I'm not all that thrilled with this growing collection of amazon accounts either. I did chuckle when it wouldn't let me use the same password for this one as another one. OK... so you *know* I have that other account... link 'em!

my customer log in.

why can't they consolidate all this? Google can.

Excellent!
Wasn't sure if they were making money off your thing or not.
Since it's you doing it there's no CC issues. But if the blog slurpers do it then this would be much easier case of them profiting from the work, easier to show they're making money than just if they had ads on the page which ppl may or may not see or click (adblock).
Was curious about how that was working, guess I should have included all that in original comment.

OK, that's just cool.
a) Do you get any of that money.
b) Where is your blog entry telling me how to set this up for my blog?
c) You may be the coolest geek I know right now, seriously.
