Google Page Speed

Almost two years ago, I briefly mentioned the release of Yahoo!’s YSlow for Firebug. This week the Google folks released their own Firefox add-on called Page Speed.

Like YSlow, you need to have Firebug installed for this to work. That means you’ll only use this from Firefox – I wonder if they’ll ever have something similar for their own Chrome browser as well?

Not exactly earth shattering, but worthy of a mention and potentially adding to the toolkit for those working on web sites. Also a good excuse to remind folks about YSlow as well…
