Firefox 3.6 and Windows 7: Thumbnail Previews

If you’re running Windows 7 and recently updated Firefox to 3.6, here’s a little tip you might like. While not enabled by default, it turns out that Firefox 3.6 has a nice little Windows integration feature: Thumbnail previews.

Just head to about:config, find the browser.taskbar.previews.enable key and toggle it to true. Now, when you hover over the Firefox icon in the taskbar you’ll get previews for all the open tabs. This, of course, assumes you have aero peek enabled.

Cool, huh?
