I just noticed that Windows XP Service Pack 3 is available from Windows Update — or you can download it directly.
I build a lot of machines for both home and work and I’m very excited to finally see this. No more 95 or so patches after an XP SP2 install!
Now I’m off to check the MS licensing site to see if there’s a volume license iso with it integrated yet. ![]()
[Priceless] Tutorial: USB DUN with “Wireless Modem” app on HTC Mogul
Not that I advocate running amok with your cell provider’s data plans, of course…
Sprint wants around $35/month for the privilege of using a cell phone as a modem. Heck, I already pay ‘em $60 a month for a pure data plan on a PC Card modem. I stink at rationalizing. Anyways, some might find this an interesting tutorial at an academic level.
Looks like Adobe AIR really will be truly cross platform soon with the announcement of the Linux Alpha version today.
Dire warnings apply:
The Adobe AIR for Linux alpha is *not* feature complete. AIR applications that run on the Mac and Windows version may not run on the Linux alpha depending on the features used by that application. Please review the release notes for more information on which features are not available in the alpha.
I’ve almost always had a listing of “popular posts” in my blog’s sidebar. Yet, I think the search engines have driven 99.99% of the traffic to those same posts, not that list.
Seems like it’s just wasted space.
Do people ever actually click through popular posts links — here or on other blogs?
Follow-up: I just purchased eWallet after a very successful 30 day trial (earlier mention: Mobile Password Tracking: eWallet)
