I’m talking to Coyote Point and F5 about load balancing appliances. Anyone else I should talk to? This is a whole new world to me.

Long story short: I just need someting that’ll “pin” IIS sessions and handle SSL. I’d prefer an appliance so that I don’t have to think (much), but am open to other ideas. Like anyone, I like inexpensive options…

Here’s a quick heads up for folks interested in calendar sharing and syncing.  Starting later today (Noon Pacific Standard time on July 22, 2008 to be precise) all the Calgoo products will changing to Free. That’s a price that can be intriguing, eh?

I meant to look at their stuff in the past, but since I’m syncing Google Calendar direct to my Windows Mobile phone I have not yet figured out if there’s a match for me (no desktop Outlook in my equation).

I’ve been eagerly devouring The Dresden Files series of books this month. I love ‘em. I’m hooked.

Imagine my excitement this evening to find that there was a TV series based on them — and it is now on Hulu!

Had another lost afternoon today. Same problem. Different server. Previous solution didn’t work. Maddening!

Said “screw it” this time and convinced the developer to “strong name” it and it worked fine from the GAC.
